Every used truck we export passes through our own yard in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. It is not a drive-through check. Each unit gets a full pre-export inspection by our mechanics — the same people who prep trucks for buyers in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, DRC and 15+ other countries. The 30-Point Pre-Export Inspection Checklist
This is the checklist our mechanics work through on every truck. If a unit fails any item below, it is fixed before shipping or taken out of stock.
1. Engine (5 checks)
- Cold start test — engine must start cleanly without excessive cranking
- Oil pressure and oil leaks — checked under load, not just at idle
- Coolant condition — no oil contamination, no overheating history
- Turbo and exhaust — listening for abnormal whistle or smoke
- Exhaust smoke test — blue (oil), white (coolant) or heavy black smoke means rejection
2. Transmission & Drivetrain (4 checks)
- All gears engage smoothly, including reverse and low range
- Clutch feel and release bearing noise
- Gearbox oil level and color
- Differential and drive shaft — no vibration or knocking under load
3. Brakes & Steering (4 checks)
- Air system builds pressure within normal time and holds
- Brake pads/drums measured — not just visually checked
- Brake response tested on a short drive
- Steering play and power steering fluid level
4. Chassis, Frame & Suspension (4 checks)
- Frame checked for cracks, especially around welds and spring mounts
- Chassis straightness — a bent frame is a deal-breaker
- Leaf springs, bushings and shackles
- Shock absorbers and axle alignment
5. Body, Hydraulics & Tires (6 checks)
- Cab condition — rust, dents, door seals, glass
- Dump body hydraulic lift tested through full cycle (for tippers)
- Hydraulic cylinders — no leaks, pump pressure and noise
- Tire tread depth measured, not guessed
- Rims checked for cracks and torque
- Spare tire and tool kit present
6. Electrical & Cabin (5 checks)
- Battery, alternator and starter under load
- Dashboard lights, gauges and warning lights function
- Headlights, indicators, wipers and horn
- Air conditioning and heater function
- Seats, seat belts, windows and mirrors
7. Documentation (2 checks)
- VIN matches the registration and export paperwork
- Ownership documents, export license and customs paperwork ready
Live Video Inspection — Watch Before You Pay
For every serious buyer, we arrange a live WhatsApp video call. Our mechanic walks around the truck, starts the engine, works the hydraulics, and shows you the exact condition of every panel. You decide. If you want an independent set of eyes, we can also arrange SGS, BV or CCIC inspection — the inspector’s report goes directly to you, not through us.
What Happens After Inspection
Once a truck passes, it is photographed, logged with its condition report, and prepared for export — tires aired, fluids topped, battery charged, and any failing part replaced before loading. The condition report is shared with you before shipment, so what arrives at your port is exactly what you approved.
